Steve’s DJ career began in 1984. He’s worked on the radio, in night clubs, and doing private parties. Steve passed up a gig at WRKS-FM in NYC in favor of completing school. He completed his B.A. in Psychology in 1988, and his M.S.W. in 1992. Since then Steve has done stints as a stand-up comedian and appeared on NEWS 12 Westchester as a behavioral health correspondent. Currently Steve works full-time as a therapist at a private behavioral health hospital in Connecticut.
Jennifer began her TV & radio career in college. Passing up countless on-camera offers, Jennifer embarked on a career in media marketing after graduating school with a degree in Business. Years later Jennifer found herself wanting “to make a difference” She went back to school and earned her MSW in 2003. Jennifer currently supervises one of the country’s first Women’s specific, inpatient treatment programs.
Tom had a brief career as a DJ too. Tom knew early on he wanted to be a therapist and help others. Even before completing his MSW, Tom had become a veteran counselor, working with both adolescents and adults at inpatient settings. Today Tom has a small private practice in southwest Connecticut. He works full-time as an account executive for a prominent home healthcare agency.
Courtney completed her B.A. & M.S.W. at a remarkably young age. In between the two degrees Courtney worked for Reuters as a translator of healthcare news. This made her a natural for the position as News Director for Radio Recovery. Courtney is currently the executive director for a 150 bed skilled nursing facility in Connecticut. Her program model for treating residents suffering from psychiatric illness & addiction has made her a highly sought after consultant.
